New Spaces, New Tales

irritatedandroidSo, I've been busy. Sorting out rent, packing to go. With a promising new job to my list of about 6 now, I'm heading out of the city I've lived in for 21 years (bye dirty 'Shwa, it's been a blast) and moving out to the other end of my province's capital.
And of course with new spaces, new air and places to think to myself, should come new self-reflection and experiences. I'll have a park with a nice rocky stream to hang around, as well as continued work as the tired and overdone technician I was meant to be, amusing. I'm planning to hunt down an old gamecube, so I can play a nostalgic game that I think was important to my experiences as a machinekin as well as a feral animal fictionkin. I'll embed it below.
With reflecting on my childhood, I always get caught questioning if my experiences as otherkin are what they are, or are more of a product of my psychology and imprinting as a kid. But then I wonder, if they were, why would I be two things that if combined resemble a Zoid, instead of just a Zoid itself? Questions that may never get answers, I suppose.
However it does give me an idea for some self-representation, a 'sona of sorts. Either way, things to consider in the future.
Anyways, moving day should be very soon, once I get myself together. The place is mine and I just need to pick up the keys and move in.

Date: 2019-01-06 08:19 pm (UTC)I've been questioning that more myself, but haven't reached any conclusions. Funny that you mention Zoids, because the Blade Liger and Liger Zero had a similar effect on me when I was younger. I don't see myself as mechanical in any way, but even now I still get inexplicable feelings about it. The same with another lion-type character I've been questioning more seriously for the last 6 months. Always somethin new to unpack.
